Rare “folding cheval de frise” comprising six triangular bayonet-type blades, folding, mounted on articulated frame functions as axis with brass push button which allows the unlocking of two blades at the ends which affixes in a star-position.
Within its rare striped black leather case of origin with cut-out brass cap
Manufacturing attributed to citizen Latour, Paris, circa 1798
Length of blades: 53 cm (1-3/4 ft.).
